Waziup e.V. participated in the Euraxess Horizon Europe Grant Writing Workshop for Kenyan Researchers, held on 3 November 2025, providing an opportunity to showcase its involvement in the SEADE project and its contribution to strengthening research and innovation ecosystems across Africa and Europe.

During the workshop, Waziup presented the SEADE project, highlighting its role in supporting digital innovation, capacity building, and international research cooperation.

As the Kenyan pilot lead, Waziup also showcased the SEADE Route to Market training programme, through which young innovators from Kenya and Tanzania are gaining practical skills in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (AIoT) development, market readiness, and industry engagement.

The event provided a valuable platform to connect with researchers, explore collaboration opportunities under Horizon Europe, and share experiences on strengthening innovation ecosystems.

Through SEADE, Waziup continues to support youth-driven innovation, technology development, and stronger research and innovation partnerships between Africa and Europe.
