On 5 September 2026, Waziup proudly supported the Shahinota Cup 2026, a cricket tournament organized by the Bangladesh Diaspora Community in Dresden. Held at Alexander-Puschkin-Platz from 9 AM to 9 PM, the tournament brought together six teams for a full day of competition and community celebration. As part of our support, Waziup sponsored jerseys for the participating teams, contributing to the spirit of teamwork and unity throughout the event.

Beyond the tournament, the event was an opportunity for Waziup to connect directly with Dresden’s Bangladeshi community and introduce PORAI, an education app currently being developed by Waziup, set to launch first in Bangladesh. Engaging with the community PORAI is built for made the event especially meaningful for the team.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Rahim addressed participants and organisers, speaking about the importance of community, collaboration, and bringing people together. Waziup was also honoured to present the sponsored jersey to the event organisers as part of the closing activities.
