Dr. Rahim joined the panel discussion “IP Helpdesk Impact on EU Business”, representing the Africa IP Helpdesk. He shared Waziup’s experience and spoke about how IP support can make a real difference for businesses and innovators, particularly when navigating unfamiliar markets and intellectual property requirements.
The panel brought together business representatives from Africa, China, Europe, India, Latin America and South-East Asia. Speakers shared their experiences of working across different markets and discussed the practical challenges businesses face when it comes to protecting their ideas and innovations.
As part of the discussion, Dr. Rahim presented a case study from Waziup’s experience, showing how the Africa IP Helpdesk supports innovators in understanding intellectual property issues and finding ways to protect and develop their ideas.
The event was a great opportunity to meet people working in different regions, exchange experiences and hear first-hand how IP support is helping businesses in practice.
